Despite them headlining so many other festivals, does anyone else think Foo Fighters may still turn out to be headlining Reading and Leeds 2011?

I heard they might be announced for Rock en Seine. R/L and Rock en Seine often share a headliner or two, but Foos will definitely not play R/L

So no hope at all then. All reading and leeds headliners are exclusive in England. The foos are booked for isle of wight, not to mention 2 mahoosive gigs at Milton keynes bowl.

they wouldn't headline, but i think dave & co wouldn't mind if they wanted to play.

Dave Grolh has recently said that Reading/Leeds is his favourite festival, and that it would be the perfect way to end the Euro leg of the dates to promote the new foos album ..... but he was referring to playing in 2012.

Foos are a great live band although I think grohl is very overrated as a front man. Would love then to play as long as they ignored their new stuff.

Overrated as a front man? He has character, personality, stage presence...he may not be the best singer, but he is a fantastic front man.

I find grohl just too nice. He is just like the type of bloke you could go for a drink down the local with. Theres no mystique about grohl, he is just a nice guy. The likes of cobain and morrison were flawed genuises but it was part of the unpredictability which made them so great.

Foo Fighters are at that size that they'd only ever headline, 2012 is the best we're gonna get.
