Haven't been to one this year or last. The only festival my friends are willing to go to is T cos they know the headliners..... And I'm never going again. Plus went travelling round europe this year, was thinking about a festival but didnt fancy going to a festival on my own. Though having gone round Europe on my own I definately think I could manage it.

I don't know who or why people started talking about me not going to festivals.

perhaps because you didn't go to them when you first started posting here, as was the actual case?

But anyway, what you really do is go to see one of your favourite three bands. It just happens that they've played festivals and not gigs.

If his posts are on moderation, they only seem to appear when Neil has something snide to say about them

Worm has been on moderation for a very long time now, due to some dangerous 'advice' he posted to a vulnerable person.

His posts get made visible (if they get made visible, tho very very few are deleted) when I get to see he's made a post or when I have time to deal with him having made a post.

Grow the f**k up, moron.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that at all!

I don't tend to post in forums of festivals that I don't go to that often, even if it's a generic type thread. Apart from Reading / Leeds because - and don't take this the wrong way, Reading / Leeds fans - the majority of posters don't seem to understand that music existed before Oasis.

havent been to any of the big ones for a couple of years but been to at least two smaller ones this year, maybe more, as i'm not sure when an all day gig with multiple bands in a pub / hall / uni becomes a festival.

I didn't ask why he was on moderation. But thanks for telling me something incredibly private.

I merely stated that you feel compelled to respond to almost everything he says in a derogatory manner.

Grow up yourself.

because he talks endless shit. As he did with that 'advice'.

And I've not told you anything that's not already known.

Complete lies.

It's because I said that there was no such thing as physical addiction in an argument with you and a GP. Addiction is not an object you see, so it can't be physical. Any psychologist and/or English major will verify this. Also, calling what I said medically dangerous is also bad grammar.

bad grammar?

It's better than giving advice that soooooo wrong that it could cause a person's death.

You said it - and more - to an addict. The GP felt I didn't over-step things with how I chose to respond to your doings.

It's about power Neil. You sense that I have some during discussions on your site and you don't like it.

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

It is about power. The power I have to be able to choose what I pay for to be presented here.

And I certainly ain't paying to give you a platform which may cause people to die.

Again, there is no such thing as physical addiction. I'll continue to say it to every single person I come across who says otherwise, including GPs.

is there a physical reaction to some addictions? Yes, beyond all doubt. Case proven, worm proven as wrong.

And that isn't what he said to me

funny, cos he posted the exact opposite for anyone and everyone to read.

No, but you'll tell me to commit suicide to get over my depression.

:lol::lol::lol:

There's no end to the bollocks you'll spout. I said no such thing. Grow up.

Oh yes.

He's also told me that I'm a pedophile, insane and that my depression doesn't exist. And I get moderated for pointing out THE FACT that addiction is not physical in a thread about addiction. Wonders never cease.

Your delusions are getting out of control. No f**king wonder you're depressed.

I said no such things.

And your fact is 100% wrong. There are physical effects from some addictions: case proven, worm proven wrong.

    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
    • Citizenship via investment programs basically work by saying if you invest this much in our economy (say buy a property worth x) then we will either grant you citizenship or residency with a route to it. The EU has rules on how low countries can set the bar. Montenegro was one of the easier ones to get and they've had to tighten it up.
