Who says so?

When he played back in 02 I made the mistake of leaving after only 2 tracks. That quadraphonic sound system was one of the best things we have ever had at Glastonbury!

So we're gonna have Roger Waters playing 'The Wall'. Oh joy. Last time he played by God it was one of the dullest two hours of my life.

Why do you think he'll be playing?

He has shows in Switzerland on the Friday and Saturday, and while that doesn't exclude Glastonbury entirely it does make it VERY unlikely IMO.

I thought Waters at Glastonbury one of the best shows the festival has ever hosted. I also thought his last DSOTM tour was far more imaginative than the last Floyd shows which I also caught at Earls Court. Waters seems very happy to give Syd the full respect he is due as a major icon whereas the Floyd generally underplay Syd's contribution. I'm watching The Wall on the opening night and have massive expectations.

Respectfully disagree with this - to me they make a huge deal. Whether that's writing an album about him whilst at the peak of their powers, or other songs here and there ("and when the band you're in starts playing different tunes" / "why did we tell you that you were always the golden boy, and that you'd never lose the light in your eyes"), or his face on the screen at their shows, or producing his solo albums, etc?
