Not got a ticket? No worries, relive your favourite Glasto moments here.

It's not really the same is it? Ah well.

Last year was my first Glastonbury so I haven't got much to choose from but I would say, looking back in a mirror and seeing the whole crowd before Muse was just... amazing. Absolutely amazing.

Sitting at the back of The Other Stage last year watching Bon Iver with my best friend, we were sat on a blanket eating chips and drinking cider.

Standing at The Other Stage all day to get on the barrier for Yeah Yeah Yeahs and talking to a girl from Brazil who'd came over to see them and Blur.

Seeing Damon Alburn cry during The Universal.

Discovering The Park for the first time and sitting in the glass house eating tea and toast.

Watching Animal Collective from the glass house.

Standing infront of the huge canvas by the John Peel for the first time and reading all of the quotes etc.

Going to the jamming tent in The Park with my friend Joe in 09 and him playing the piano.

Dancing around to trance songs infront of the rhythm and juice tent at 10am this year.

Welling up with tears of happiness during The Flaming Lips doing Do You Realize?? this year, I was in a slightly rubbish mood cos my friend got insanely drunk and I had to compose her and look after her and she was being a dick, but she fell asleep on the grass and their entire set just made me overly happy.

Also before the 'Lips came on, we got speaking to this girl called Lizzie and her friend Flid who were AWESOME. We drank gin and spoke of Elliott Smith. They were lovely.

Walking by The Other Stage wearing a My Bloody Valentine shirt and having some guy sprint over to me and hug me and tell me he loved my shirt and beard. I love people like this.

Watching people during Blur's Tender just hugging or holding on to each other singing at the top of their lungs, and I just remember thinking I don't ever want to leave this place

Going to The Park for the first time

Finally finding fecking Strummerville last year and watching a rather drunken Frank Turner

Watching my nephew's face drop in amazement when we finally arrived

Walking up the hill to Flagtopia (btw I am never doing that again)

Meeting old glasto friends

The smeeeeell

The sunday headliner is always special. Hugging my all my mates, and then on my mates shoulders during "drugs don't work" by The Verve. I felt like I was the tallest person in the world looking at the crowd. What a way to end my first glastonbury.

Everybody singer the chorus to Tender by Blur over and over.

Sunday nights staying up for sunset at the stone circle

My first cider from the cider bus.

When its my friends first time going, seeing them in awe at the size of the place when they arrive.

Climbing the hill in the park, looking out at everything whilst blazing a J.

  • Everyone hugging and singing along to "Tender", even during the encore breaks

  • FOR A MINUTE THERE I LOST MYSELF

  • chatting with Emmy the Great

  • climbing the hill in The Park and the view hitting me so hard I physically fell back

  • getting to share some of these memories experiences with people this year

  • watching Jarvis Cocker play some cool music in the Rabbit Hole

  • the two girls in animal suits singing and dancing and stripping to "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and other songs at around 3am in the Drag Strip on Saturday in 2009

  • figuring out that the Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood rumors were true because I recognized their equipment

  • my first (and sadly only) Brothers Cider. Delicious!

  • fire show at Arcadia

  • Lightning for Hire at Arcadia. Anyone else see this? Human Tesla coil. They threw lightning at each other and had these lightsaber looking glow things. Brilliant.

  • the deliciousness at La Grande Bouffe

  • The Growler

  • Bat for Lashes ripping my soul to shreds with that otherworldly voice

  • Muse and the Edge? whoa.

  • Kylie with Scissor Sisters

  • Neil Young's "Down By the River" being so perfect

  • everyone going batshit crazy to "Girls & Boys"

  • talking to a girl at the stone circle about the popularity of laughing gas and alcohol consumption compared to back in the colonies

  • trying to find my way to Arcadia last year. I ended up at the Queens Head and Meeting Point area, took a right and walked completely straight ahead for about five minutes and somehow ended up right back at the Queens Head and Meeting Point area...how is that possible?

  • seeing Damon Albarn cry

  • "Empire Ants" at the Gorillaz set sounded amazing

  • dancing the night away with a group of friends-for-the-night in the Silent Disco

  • a relaxing stroll through Permaculture

  • Being checked on every 5 minutes as I tried to nap in the Shangri-la on Sunday night. Ineeded the sleep, but it's nice to know people care enough to see if I'm alive.

  • awkwardly dancing to Metric while surrounded by Jason Mraz fans

  • Yeah Yeah Yeahs busting out "Art Star"

  • YYYs smashing their microphone and guitar together at the end of "Date with the Night"

  • the best "A Day in the Life" ever performed? Maybe. It even topped seeing McCartney do it at Coachella.

  • the singalongs during the train wreck that was Boy George

  • seeing the Cubehenge illuminated at night

  • sitting in the Avalon tent as people cheered for the thunder outside

  • every time I went "WTF?" when seeing something interesting in one of the latenight areas

Camping up on Pennards Hill (I think that was the name for it) next to the Thompson Twins and Janice Long and her partner in 1992.

The views were fabulous and the weather hot and wonderful. Our illustrious tent neighbours were lovely and when Janice left, poorly unfortuately, she gave me her Backstage pass which I mainly used, rather boringly, to go to the decent toilets and take our friends' kids to. I did buy a half at the backstage bar, but didn't see anyone I recognised. We did see Tom Jones and Marcella Detroit (Shakespears Sister) in the main site though.

Our subsequent years of 1993 and 1994 at Glastonbury were also blessed with good, if almost too hot, weather, and when we left I vowed that we were not leaving for good, but that we would go back, at some time in the future.

Fast forward to 2010, its my first chance to go back -this time with eldest child whose now old enough to appreciate it. Then DISASTER-couldn't get tickets.ARGHHHHH.

Never mind, networking here like mad and hoping we have a chance with any resales.

Happy memories - AnnaGrant

Ditto, didn't put it in my post above, but there's so much one could say!

Found it difficult to comprehend the size of the site on our first morning. I really felt I'd entered a different universe. And it wasn't just the size, its that everyone is friendly and just not like in 'normal' society. It made me think that there was a possiblity of arranging society in a better way.

The first festival I went to was Reading in 89 and for the following two (90 + 91) and never went to Glastonbury cos it seemed so much more expensive. Then I went to my first Glasto when in my early 30s as a mate persuaded me and I could afford it by then. My friend pointed out that I won't comprehend the size of it. I got there and he was right the size blew me away.

The fact a piece of the festival stays with you and changes you, even if just a little bit.

1) Being drunk with my friend at the Circus and being as animated by the kids performer as the little kids were, only to hear the presenter say to the other grown ups: "Come on people, only the kids and those two drunks over there (pointing at us) seem to be enthusiastic to be here"

2) Shaking hands with Travis, Cypress Hill and Adam Duritz (Counting Crows)

3) Getting lost at every turn in my first Glasto in 2000 but ending up right underneath 3-4 firework displays

4) Getting to the dance field on Sunday after Stevie Wonder only to find there was no music, me and my friend were about to go to the car park and suddenly a tiny stage switched the music on full blast when we were in front of it and started dancing , then we turned around and there were hundreds of people running towards us to join in and dance.

too many!

5) Making a bong with a Pringle's tube in the tent when it was pissing down and none of us wanted to leave the tent.

6) Covering our friend with beer while she was having a shit in the toilets.

7) When after a nice sunny festival it rained during "Why does it always rain me" by Travis to then stop raining when they finished the song.

That place is the closest it gets to magic tbh.
