Your best Glastonbury memories

-Walking out of the park singing Karma Police with about 5000 strangers last year.

-Madness opening their set with One Step Beyond in 2009 and about 15 men dressed as smurfs skipping past towards the front of the stage.

-A group of women pretending to be girl guides accosting my dad, forcing him to do tasks and then rewarding him with a biscuit and a sticker before skipping off.

-A load of kids (and adults) playing Bogies in the campsite on the thursday and not one person telling them to shut up.

-Some guy called Bruce Airhead bursting out of a giant green balloon singing 'Hound Dog.'

Going along to see Robbie Williams just for the laugh of seeing him bottled off, only to have an incredibly emotional singalong to Angels - that vid on youtube makes me cry to this day - and for all the right reasons!

Loving the Marley Brothers so much that I cried most of the way through it, and a young couple coming up to me at the end and saying they wanted to hug me because i was so beautiful!

Yes and yes! Just watched Robbie on You Tube to remind me.

this was my favourite memory by far. especially when we walked passed a guy in a Radiohead T-shirt who asked the question "why is everyone signing a radiohead song"

2nd was probably the edge coming on.

and third and one of the funniest things I've heard was when snoop dog came down to the fans after his performance and was high fiving everyone and my mate who had just woke up totally pissed and decided to shout at snoop " YOU KILLED BIGGIE SMALLS!!" and snoop was only about 8 ft away.

Playing table football with complete strangers for hours in Shangri-La.

Going in 2003 with 4 mates has evolved into over 40 of us going this year, long may our group of brummie pisstramps continue to grow.

First timers are always fun.

Drinking way too much and dropping pills in the 14 hour traffic jam in 2009, putting the tent up at 3am was hilarious.

Forgetting to take my coat in 2007, buying an army jacket from a stall only to find 2 unspent shotgun shells in the pocket.

One mate broke our gazebo in 2009, while he was sleeping we picked up his whole tent with him in it, walked a good 10 minutes and relocated him on a busy path.

Numerous fun times in the jamming tent.

Watching The Verve play Bitter Sweet Symphony at my first Glasto in 2008 and looking up at The Pyramid in tears having watched Glasto on tv every year since 1998 when I was a Jarvis obsessed 11 year old, and not quite being able to believe I was finally there!

(My older cousin went to Glasto in 98 and when she got back and told me all about it I was too young to comprehend that she could have missed Pulp in a drunken stupor... I was annoyed at her for months)

My first Cider Bus cider, sat in Jazz World and looking around trying to comprehend everything

Sitting under the big tree at The Stone Circle in silence

Magical sing along with Ray Davies for Waterloo Sunset with my best friend and boyfriend, while everyone else had gone to watch England

Chai Tea Tent in the wee hours

Bombay Bicycle Club and the African samba band in John Peel

And then completely by accident seeing them again at Strummerville by the camp fire, followed by Mystery Jets which went a bit like this as we sat down at the very front:

My mate: "The singer from Mystery Jets has spina bifida"

Me: "I can't remember noticing before, does he really?"

Singer appears on crutches

My mate (really loudly) "See I TOLD you he had Spina Bifida!"

Singer looks at us, and sits down on edge of the stage

My mate: "So why did you chuck your Dad out the band?"

...

Finding a 'Glastonbury wish' peg attached to my back

Meeting a 65 year old Brummie called Reg with a balloon hat who told me in all his years at Glasto he'd only seen a handful of bands

The Wishing Tree (Hope this makes a come back next year)

Going Speed dating in the Greenfields and enduring the embarrassment of the first boy I was paired with running away before the first minute was up, apologising "I just can't do this" !

The first time I heard the word mooncup

Queuing for 5 hours to do 16 miles from the M5 to Glastonbury... wouldn't have said it at the time but it made me appreciate the arrival so much more!

The Edge coming on with Muse just as my friend was about to drag me for a loo visit, and being blown away by Matt Bellamy's voice

The first clap of thunder on Thursday night in 09 and what appeared to be the whole site errupting into a massive "WWWHEEEEEYYYYYYYYY"

The michael jackson rumours & jokes on Friday morning.

Strolling along oblivious to the fact Jarvis cocker was walking beside me along the railway track on the saturday... wasn't until someone said to me was that ajrvis cocker and then everyone else kinda started mummering as well.

Waiting for Blur on the pyramid stage in 09, was my first year & my first pyramid headliner... and yes I was split between blur & the prodigy all of the sudnay but i made the right choice

The sound of everyone singing along to tender during blurs set I do not think will ever be forgotten, As well as Damon crying during the universal.

The massive crowd round a bonfire of camp chairs & other rubbish in the other stage feild & some dudes running & jumping over it on the way abck from Blur.

Loadsa other memories from 09 as well but nothing quite as vivid as those.

2010 is a bit fuzzy but I remember being stood right at the front and looking back at the crowd durng muse, the alan chant, seeing sasha instead of gorillaz (brilliant decision apparently), essential mix at the HUB and chatting to some random french girl. The Micro Rave in shangri la as well was a wee bit brilliant. the rumours of secret acts & poerfomances etc.

Probably the best - Getting married in Barbados and flying back home, immediately getting in the car and driving to Glastonbury for the honeymoon....
