I also found it slightly obnoxious for Simon to put the 2 new groups through. So basically, he's picked 8 people who he really liked, told them they can't go through, then thrown them together into two groups and put them straight through.

agreed. everyone at my work was talking about gamu today. and the controversy it caused on twitter/facebook last night was unreal. but if it means 4 more weeks to knock out 4 more people (or whatever way they do the wildcards), then it's kaching for cowell! he's not an idiot!
