What a load of bollocks that was. Simon Cowell spouting off about the public having there say yet I'm pretty sure if it was purely down to the public the bottom two would've been Katie and Mary and Wagner would've stayed. Well I hope he's happy, the only reason alot of people had any interest in the show was because of Wagner, it'll be very boring now. The only reason I'd watch it is to see that rat Cher get the boot.

Believe it's 3, but it wouldn't surprise me if it becomes 4 if Cher is in with a chance of getting voted off <_<

As for Simons comments on Wagner, it's pretty obvious the whole thing is fixed / weighted towards certain acts this year (Even more so than usual), bit fishy how they moved Cher to the end even though Dermott before the advert said she was on next / only act who moved order the whole night.

Cheryl couldn't care less about any of her acts bar her clone (see when Katie went and Rebecca got through), Simon just sees £££ signs at one direction (onto a winner here regardless of where they finish) and Matt's had it won for weeks now. Reckon that Mary person is going to end up in the west end and Rebecca (aka Leona Lewis mk 2 - just worse) will end up somehow working with Simon.

Will be out when last 2 are on, but Matt - One Direction - Rebecca will be how it finishes I reckon.

so they finally managed to fix it to get rid of wagner.

it was obvious right away when he was the first act on that they were determined to get rid of him this weekened. he had the worst slot, first act on then his second song was right in the middle of the show so he gets lost amongst everyone else. and cher was on last so that she'd get more votes.

obviously no one knows who got more votes out of wagner and mary, but i'd be very surprised if wagner came second last. if it was just down to the public vote last night, mary probably would have went along with katie.

i'm sure that in previous years, they have stopped doing the bottom two and just having the public vote a few weeks before the final. obviously had to change it this year to get rid of wagner. the judges shouldn't have any say in it this late on in the show.

when cheryl voted him off, it really pissed me off when she said something along the lines of "we haven't always got on, but you apologised to me and i accepted it." for a start, wagner DID NOT apologise to her for anything, definitely not on telly anyway, and he had f**k all to apologise for! she tried to make him look a dick, but she just made herself look like a dick. she's a really vile creature and has almost made the x factor unbearable to watch this year.

no surprise that cheryl looked gutted when rebecca was put through before cher last night. obviously cher is the only act she gives a f**k about, despite rebecca being much more talented and probably a nicer person. the smug look on cher's face after she finishes her performance every week is so f**king frustrating to watch.

it's been quite an annoying series this year. the show has definitely revolved around certain acts a lot more than it has in previous years.

not sure if i'm going to watch it anymore, it kind of stops being an entertainment show when the judges and contestants are complete c**ts and it's just annoying to watch it.

They are old fashioned - boy bands, in their form, went out of fashion ages ago.

yeah, of course they have. No one's interested in boy bands anymore. A quick look at what's top of the album charts proves that.

Its why the judges are doing everything to save Cher - she's got the best chance of selling a reasonable amount of records, even though the public might not vote for her to the same extent as the others.

nah, it's not that at all, it's a bunch of musical lightweights sucking up to someone they laughingly think of as a credible act, because they think their ability to identify what they believe is a credible act reflects back on them and shows them as more than just lightweights.

Yet a quick analysis of Cher's first words on TV gets to show her as anything but that. She's no less of a fake as every other act on X Factor from the auditions right thru to the finals.

Nah, I'm talking about groups of young white males sitting on stools singing ballads - 90s take that, boyzone, westlife (that is exactly what Cowell would do with them)

I completely agree about Cher, she's rubbish - I cringe every time she 'raps' - but she's the most marketable on the show. And gullible wee girls will buy it. We're at the stage in the X Factor where Cowell just wants the acts that can sell records.

that's the thing. cher doesn't seem popular at all. i don't know anyone who likes her and there's always bad stories about her in the press. i'm not sure how well she will do after the show. i could see her maybe having a few big hit singles, then disappearing.

    • I take my lad to the local non-league club - Royston Town - not he's 13, he goes there with his mates and he plays in their youth team.  Not many people there - lucky if they hit 800, but lovely supporting the town team.  I've took him to some league clubs too - Cambridge and Stevenage are great to visit and not crazy prices - his first one was Cambridge v Sunderland (I'm a mackem) when they were in league 1, so a great experience for him.  The England matches aren't too bad value either at Wembley - it's just the parking that stings you. Problem is, he's a City fan, so at some point have to bite the bullet and get him up to the Ethiad. Have done the tour, but he'd love a proper game....my wallet, less so!
    • Said it before, but if Annie Lennox is available next year, then it would be an absolute crime to instead book anyone else. She's rare and legendary enough that you drop all other plans.
    • I was having a tired day, my apologies 😂
    • I was there with Oxfam too! I got earlies so it was probably me who registered you on arrival 😀
    • Slightly unexpected, but Shambala is discounted on TfG.   Works out at about £215 after discount which is about a third off.
