I caught episode 2 last night. Gadget's fire and ice adventure almost made me pi$$ myself laughing

I wish there was some explanation of how Banjo and Milky came to be best friends with the group. They celebrate Milky's demise at the end of the film, before getting glassed by Combo. All of sudden they are a couple of comedy characters more akin to lovable, daft uncles than raging racists.

Furthermore the cheap comedy regarding Milky's illegitimate son is quite frustrating.

Other than that it is great. Think Lol has developed into an amazing character.

I think he was. A good point about them becoming best mates in the group considering there actions at the end of the film, they obviously discovered the error of there ways.

Yeah that was hard to watch. Not usualy filmed that graphically. It would normally be implied rather than explicit.

I couldnt go to bed after watching it i had to watch something else for 10 minutes.

I genuinely can't remember seeing that before on TV. I reckon they were right to show it, if not for dramatic purposes but other reasons. Had they not shown it as well there would still haven been that ambiguity over how this man treated Lol (ie was he just violent to her or did he try to rape her?) and what may happen to Kelly.

Just on the side note, I love the more light hearted elements like the scooter gang. Unlike what happens in the film, it would be good if the whole series didn't just descend into doom and gloom for all the characters in the last episode

Last nights episode was great, typical Shane Meadows, some scenes make you laugh out loud and then the next makes you feel sick. It was pretty disturbing but I don't think it was just put in there for shock value, I think it was neede to show how evil Mick is. I think there will be alot of complaints about it though.

The final episode is shaping up to be a cracker, I think everyone could be spot on with Combo killing Mick and perhaps partially redeeming himself in the eyes of the group.

that was some heavy shit, when mick invited trev in I wanted to stop watching then. Made for some really uneasy viewing, very graphic.

Maybe combo 'sorting' mick out is a bit obvious, could there be a little twist in there? maybe woody will try and do right by lol

I think shaun should have told his mum to put some trousers on aswell

Love any scene that gadget is in and the bully biker dude is really funny

I wouuld like to see more of pukey, he was getting beaten up at the end of e2 - i would like to see the story behind that, but doubt there will be enough time to cover that

It's making for a fine ending. Wonder what state Combo is in, he looked a bit like a junkie while he was lying on Shaun's floor. I wouldn't be surprised if something happens between them and Lol

Think Woody is a f**king brilliant character, really funny but yet horribly tragic.

The acting is a different class. The interchanges between Lol and Woody were some of the most realistic scenes I've ever seen on television, felt so embarrassed for Woody when Lol belittles his idea of listening to the radio together in work.

Just a thought given the lad and his Mum moved into that house a couple of months ago, maybe they've inadvertently moved into where Combo used to live?
