I stood a the back during the set and danced my head off, the view of the field was amazing when they did "we come one", Everyone with one finger in the air, what an amazing set and what a set of great musicians. I saw the BBC feed on the site today to relive it.......... BLISS :D:D

Loved it as expected. Only one small moan. I thought the volume was too low. I came past the pyramid earlier for Ray Davies and the sound was defeaning. But I thought it was a tad too quiet. And then on Tweak Yer Nippple just before We Come One, the volume increased at the end of the song during the synth build up. SO it was obviosuly noted.

Not the bands fault though, who I thought were fantastic

They were superb.

The Pyramid "arena" has some areas where the sound is perfect, and some where it is shite, and i would guess it would be a nightmare to do it so the sound would be awesome everywhere in the feild, with all the contours and wind and shite.

absolutely brilliant. I've wanted to see them for years and am so happy I finally have. We Come One was immense. The set seemed very short though- around 30 to 40 mins. The BBC video is 45 but that's still far too short! Should've swapped with Gorillaz!

I've never really been one for getting right up close to the front barrier at a gig but without really trying I found myself down at the front left of the stage just under the big screen for this set. Everyone was having a really good time and the bass was pumping through and when "We are One" started the noise was deafening but worth it to see everyones face at the end with the biggest smiles and blissed out expressions.

was sick. Shame about some stupid bint in front of me who got pissed when my mate touched her. 'it's alright to jump but when you jump into me that's when i get angry' - for f**k sake, if someone knocks into you from behind what are you meant to do, stand your f**king ground. Your at the front nearly for faithless, a dance act. f**k she pissed me off! Apart from that, loved the set. Massive fan. Would have loved it to have been at night though or in a tent, woulda made a cracking atmosphere.

    • Rod Liddle has died. RIP.
    • Tickets on sale from 17th August but there is a special autobuy feature from 10th August- you log what you want to buy and then forget about it apparently.
    • Took my now 12 year old to old Trafford couple of years ago, for his 1st game. He fell asleep during the game, no replies needed. 😃   He is also a Wolves fan, my parenting skills are as good as Onana's goalkeeping skills.
    • A few snaps from Sunday, which was huge fun, plus Happy Mondays, Radio Free Alice, Fratellis and Pale Waves. We didn't stay for The Streets, as after 3-4 songs it felt so downbeat compared to the rest of the day, and i've got another hectic week at work incoming.
    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
