michael eavis was interviewed on south west local news on thursday night.....he was asked about 2011 headliners and confirmed that they had been booked....when asked who, he replied "you know who they are"....

read into that what you will.... ;)

It was interesting listening to the Edge speaking to Radcliffe and Laverne on last nights coverage. He was talking about it being the right timing and that the band would only do Glasto if they felt the time was right. For him 2010 had been the perfect timing and it sounded like they were considering putting it off for a few years. He may be just a good actor, and all evidence would suggest they'll be there next year, but he was sounding a bit cool about it

I think coldplay are extremelly likely with a new album out early next year. Roger Waters could play aswell, i wouldn't be surprised at that. U2 i'm not 100%, i'd like to think they would after dissapointing this year. Radiohead and Kylie are also good shouts.

I'm never convinced when Eavis ays the headliners are booked already.

Early indications seem to be that we won't be getting U2 until after the gap year, which is a shame.

Radiohead certainly seem likely, as do Coldplay. That's not exactly new for Glasto mind.

I do know that getting tickets next year will be tough getting tickets next year.

A combination of fantastic weather and coverage this year, the 2012 gap year and the possibility of U2 headlining will create something a perfect storm.

In the Q Review mag Eavis says two of the headliners are returning and one is a woman who has played before but not headlined. U2 were pretty much ruled out for next year as well (and obviously they don't fit the criteria anyway).

So Kylie, Radiohead and Coldplay?

I'd say Radiohead are pretty much nailed on. They turned down the chance in 08 due to some reason about the fest not being eco friendly. They're obviously over this issue after the secret set and have a new album due so I'd be very surprised if they didn't.

Coldplay are always likely to be in amongst the runners.

Can't find any other sources about the Eavis quotes and the sounds coming out were that Kylie was old news now and they weren't interested any more so I'd say that's unlikely.
