Liverpool were very unlucky today. Looking back I think although the penalty was given for a dive the defender shouldn't be giving him the option to dive, the sending off was fair, personally think it should've been a yellow but the players know the rules and especially Gerrard.

All in all I think it was a positive performance from Liverpool, they could've got a dreaw in that second half and I recon if the players get a boot up the arse they'll finish in an ok position.

what a horrible game of football. Utd were very poor, Liverpool were even worse. The only entertaining thing was King Kenny looking as though he was going to burst into tears at any moment

So, yesterday. f**k me Liverpool know how to moan!! A pen that gets given half the time and a blatant two footer, and yet their moaning about Webb. I think people forgot how much of a c**t Daglish can be. Its what Liverpool need though, every good team needs a manager capable of being a c**t.

Also, heres the jacks from Old Trafford in the away end, apparently the Pool fans did a load of damage in the stadium. 15 Liverpool fans arrested and the offices below the away end got messed up with water damage. Fair play lads.

given half the time? do they bollocks, awful decision.

i thought the gerrard challenge was a yellow on first view, but replay shows it was blatant red.

and i like how all the liverpool fans i've seen are delighted with the performance. talk about blinkers, if hodgson had them playing like that, they wouldn't be saying the same.

Nah check this out, clearly shows contact. Stupid challenge. But Berbs obviously went down easy.

Anyway, Liverpool fans have no grounds for complaint. If it was at the other end Stevie Starfish would’ve done his sniper in the crowd act and went down with jazz hands et all flailing about.

Yeah, hes the only player in the only club ever to go down easy. No pride in it to be honest, but it happens.

Berba took pride in it. Utd took pride in the win.

And care to show me the rule of football which says "if others cheat, you can too".

Or Walcott? Oh no wait, he admitted to diving. It happens all the time.

I've heard that Walcott said he dived, but I've not heard what moment he was referring to. It can't be the moment he won the penalty tho, as he was defo dragged back and he stayed on his feet.

That was no more right. I'm not the one trying to use it as any justification for wrongdoing by others.

The Man Utd players have some special skills - with diving and stopping players with fouls being amongst their very best. With the amount both happen from that club they're very obviously skills that are appreciated at that club.

Sadly, Fat Sam was completely right at half time. Nowadays if there is contact and you don't think you're about to score, you have to go down. If you don't, you don't get the penalty, unless you happen to be the media darlings of the day. Over the last two years we've hardly had any penalties, because Tamas Priskin was a terrible diver, and Danny Graham will never go to ground. Suddenly everyone starts raving about us, and we get two against Cardiff.

As poor as it was, Berbatov is no more guilty than half the Premier League. And the other half are the bottom half.
