Wet Wipes - How Many packs/tubs do you need?

Yeah I know, sounds like a silly question but in all honesty how many packs of these suckers do you need? I have never had to 'wash' with them for the best part of a week and would like to know how many packs people take - we are a group of 4 (2 adults, 1 teen and one pre-teen), all of the male gender except for me. I reckon the teen will buckle to the pressure of using them after the girls get a whiff of him on about day 3!! Any advice appreciated.

I usually buy the small 'travel' packets, theres about ten in a packet. I usually take about 3 or 4 of those, and carry one round in my day bag. They're handy for giving your face and neck a quick wipe off during the day when its really hot and sunny. Which it will be.

The more 'intimate' bits can be done in the mornings in the tent.

Oh and dont forget to have an all over wash with the wipes every couple of days, so you dont think you're getting a nice tan..... ;-)

1 pack does it, for face and hands.

Otherwise 1x "fold up bowl" and a sponge. That's all you need (aside from water!) - get the odd funny look giving yourself a cold spongebath standing in the campsite in your boxers, but you actually feel clean rather than covered in another layer of (admittedly slightly cleaner) stuff...

I take 3 packs of Huggies* as I am an ample man.

1 for the tent

1 spare just in case hidden

1 for my day sack just in case I

  1. Need to clean my hands
  2. Need to clean a loo seat
  3. Nedd to clean my bot bot
  4. Need to offer them to somebody
  5. To clean something ie a can of beer
  6. Need to use them as a wet wipe because its so hot
  7. Need to clean my "other stuff"

*Other wet wipes are available but they are shite.
