You can't argue with people being somewhat disgruntled by U2 no longer playing though, announced since November, could be the reason for shifting the last lot of tickets.

Not that it's an overiding factor for me, just saying that i understand.

To be honest I couldn't care less about U2. When weighing up the options to stay in Berlin for a week or go to Glasto I've decided on the former.

Guess I'll just have to find a lookalike.

Still and all though, U2 are touring Europe in the summer, if all anybody wanted to do was see U2, it's not like they are hermits and hardly ever play...I'm disappointed that the won't be there, I was really looking forward to them and figured it would be an immense set, but these things happen....what would be f*ckin' hilarious though is if all the U2 fans got rid of their tickets and ME pulled off the coup of the century and convinced Zeppelin to play (not going to happen, but I'd love to see the look on the face of someone who sold their ticket in a strop!)...

I've no sympathy for those who don't want to go to Glasto just because one act has pulled out. Not Glasto types in my opinion. If there is a Glasto type. I know that's a bit uncharitable, but I'm still a bit sore about a fair few Springsteen fans coming on here last year, banging on about how good he was and then disappearing never to be seen again. I felt a bit sullied and dirty.

to be honest with you even tho I am a huge glasto fan ( this will be my 7th time ) I would consider getting a refund ( if it were possible which I know it isnt before ye start ) if they just bumped Dizzee Rascal cos that would just be a pisstake
