When ! ... will we find out ?

Probably within a week I imagine, seeing as we only have 4 weeks to go. Since it's so last minute I assume they're probably asking 2 or 3 bands at the same time to ensure they get someone, so even if there are rumours of the Eavis' talking to certain bands over the next few days I doubt it's any guarentee of a signing.

Everyones talking about "who" may replace U2 ? But when do you think we're likely to recieve the announcment ?

Could it perhaps be soon (e.g - tomorrow)..

Or could we be waiting a couple of weeks ?

I doubt it will be as quick as tomorrow.

They might have someone who has agreed to do it by tomorrow, but I suspect they'd wait until it was fully contracted before they announced it - it's normally the case that they don't announce until signed & sealed.

How quick it will take to get it contracted would vary I would think with different acts - I'd guess an act like Coldplay who have done it before would know how everything works so it would be straighforwards, while it might not be for a 'new' act.

Who would you put your money on headlining??

My guessed-at farmhouse conversations go something like this.... :P

1. "Gwan Chris, pleaaaase. You can take a few days out of the studio."

2. "Nick, quick, get the Chems."

3. "Is Thom's band lined up for a secret slot, Emily? What are his mates doing that weekend? Make the call!"

4. "Do you really think we can get away with replacing U2 with Kylie? Are you sure it won't go down like Jay-Zed?"

5. "heeeeeeeelp!!!!!"

:P
