Hats?

I had a reversible bucket hat last year (camo one side/khaki on the other). Comfy, practical, doesn't stupid, rolls up & fits in a pocket.

However, it didn't quite keep the sun off my neck so I bought a straw cowboy hat on site and wore it most of the weekend. I'll be taking both this year.

Hats generally don't suit me so now I've got 2 that don't look that bad on me I'm sticking with them. My missus has a great "hat head", they all suit her. In the same vein, I can pull off just about any style of specs or shades so I must have a "glasses face."

I've got loads of hats, but I'll probably pick myself up a straw hat down at Glastonbury.

The straw hat I bought at Rockness last year wasn't actually made of straw but 100% paper. :P

The majority of people were in straw hats last Glasto. They are great for the sun.

I've got my cowboy hat, £30, but it's not as cooling as a straw hat. AS IT WILL BE really hot, I WILL take a straw one instead.

    • Have you tried Anna von Hausswolff yet? Great singer, and she's from Gothenburg so guess she'll be extra excited to show her skills, especially after she unfortunately had to cancel her early summer dates.    Different style, but Oklou for me was the highlight of Primavera (apart from Geese), really enjoyable relaxed music.
    • A few bigger acts that did other similar festivals this year but not Truck, wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of these (if they're touring):   Reytons The Streets Blossoms Sophie-Ellis Bextor Rick Astley Scissor Sisters Dizzee Rascal   Truck on the undercard seems to rotate a lot of it every 2/3 years, expect to see some of these (if they're touring): Yard Act Sports Team Sea Girls Pale Waves Fat Dog Peace Swim Deep Courting   Hope Westside Cowboy and Radio Free Alice are booked again and get some bigger slots next year
    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
