YES, YES, YES! We managed to get a ticket in the cancellation resale this morning for newbie Rob who'll be the sixth member of our gang this year.

I love seeing the look of absolute awe on the face of a newbie the first time they visit Glasto and can't wait to see Rob's reaction.

It will also be a new experience for us all this year as we'll be taking a trailer tent as opposed to previously camping in the Big Ground.

We had five of us all trying to get through to get Rob a ticket but I'm pleased that it was Rob himself who got through first.

Off to celebrate tonight by seeing Ade Edmundson and the Bad Shepherds.

Managed to get one for my mate at about 10 past :P

Had 4 of us all trying on different lap tops for him, got through and then realised i had all his details except for his post code which led to a very frantic phone call!

So pleased we've managed to get him one.

We both started going to Glasto in 08' and he missed out on the general sale this year by leaving it too late meaning has been down in the dumps for a fair few months now, especially seeing as a big group of us are going together for the first time this year compared to just 3 of us the past couple of years.

Happy days! :P

The last member of our 'glastogang' got his ticket today - Pretty quickly and easily as it turns out - about 4 mins with multiple browser tabs open

I also got a order page , and was trying on his behalf - luckily the ticket system pointed out that his reg number had already been used!

Can you not go take your ticket and leave? My gf has just booked her ticket yesterday but she could only find coach tickets. We were hoping to drive there after work on Wednesday. Can't really afford to book another day off :P

For the 2 people on here who has registration number issues, had you already booked tickets before and then cancelled them? I have had this problem before, basically once you have booked tickets your registration number is locked and it doesnt get freed up even when you cancel the tickets.

I had a conversation with someone from the festival office about this a couple of years ago, they said it would be looked into, guess it hasnt

my boyfriend got one thanks to my mum stalking the website from 9-12 for us as we don't have the internet in our house at the moment (she phoned seetickets on saturday and they told her they were going on sale at 9, despite everyone else saying 12 :P ). It's gonna be his first glastonbury and i'm so excited to be popping his glasto cherry. I can't wait to see his face when he gets his first glimpse of the festival!

Happily despite my incompetence in not noticing midday pass by on Sunday, one of my brothers' girlfriends noticed and booked for our youngest brother, yay! I rang her at 12:15 in a panic, and she calmly and in true efficient German fashion said "Relax, it's all sorted". We now have tickets for everyone we wanted and I am a happy chappie!

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
