I went there this afternoon, rode my motorbike right up to Pyramid Stage, was really wierd sitting there looking out at a few sheep :-). Yes the fence is starting to go up its all laid down along rear of Dairy fields waiting to be erected, not so much going on today, lots of portacabins in coach park area and quite a few caravans / mobile homes occupied by workers i would imagine. They will have to get a move on to get it all ready.

Drove past the site on my way back from North Devon on Sat and saw glimpses of the fence. Always amazes me how there appears to be so little apparent activity until around the final week before the festi.

Yea, all that does though is link to the image's urls which are:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/glastonbury/2008/webcam/img/pyramid.jpg

http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/webcam/webcamg...mages/other.jpg

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/webcam/webcamg...greenfields.jpg

It doesnt do anything the bbc site doesn't.

I have gadgets on my desktop showing the images and it refreshes every 10 mins so I always have an up to date image - still never seen the greenfields cam though. I sent an email to the bbc last week about it.

    • I see, well even if they aren't on sale it's still not a disaster sales wise, it's not like they are struggling to sell a half capacity areana
    • Blue dot wouldn’t be a thing if Ticketmasters dynamic pricing went down as well as up, it proves that the dynamic pricing was just a scam to make more money rather than something that moved with the market supply/demand.
    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
