And for the first time last year I found a Moroccan tagine place in Shangri La. They had a shit pitch up a dead end but I hope they are back this year with a better spot. They deserve it - the best food I had last year served up by a very cheerful, HUGE guy.

Best thing I ate last year (and I don't just mean Glasto) was the Tartiflette Potatoes and Red Wine Sausage at La Grand Bouffe. I keep randomly thinking about it in idle moments. I cannot wait for another helping. But do ask for crispy bits. Mmmmmmm.

Loads of people recommended the Goan Fish Curry place to the right of Jazz/World last year but my digestive system wasn't up to it. I AM going to try that this year.

And I will eat more at the Greenfields as I heard they do great breakfasts and fruit salads.

i had an awesome hog roast from a stand which claimed to have the worlds best hog roasts. i think it was quite near to the pyramid stage... or actually maybe it was near the bandstand,

either way it was good.

Pieminister on Wednesday is a ritual, if not diverted somehow, which does happen.

I've written before on here about my preference for cheap non-rip off bacon rolls and cups of tea for breakfast. Not telling.

Other than that, I'm on holiday and it's like a fairground. I like burgers and noodle bars and candy floss and smoothies and have just thought about a Full Hog Roast, Pork, Apple Sauce, Stuffing, Crackling, Roll. Droooool?

If my doctor read this she'd kill me.

There was a bakery that we found last year on the way up to the acoustic stage to see Ray Davis. It had the most amazing cheesy bread which when you tore open had melted cheese in. Also great fresh baked pizza and home made cake. Chocolate cake yum yum !!

There's a frozen yoghurt place that I stumbled across one year where you pick what fruit you want in it and they fill a tub of plain frozen yoghurt like mr whippy, then add the fruit and mash it all up (sort of like a mcflurry), soooooooooo nice and brilliant if it is there again this year because I'm prego and totally craving fruit!!!

Yam the casarver is the place to be very good Caribbean food proper knife and fork on a crockery plate and a place to sit down if the queue is not too big. Red snapper with rice and beans, goat curry, jerk chicken and veggie option. It is situated near the jazz (West Holt stage) on the strip up to the meeting point/Left field /Queens head.

I really missed the Jordan stand last year hopefully they will be back. Otherwise La Grande Bouffe and the Moroccan food place with the goats cheese in the corner of the Jazzworld arena.

the kenyan meze place in the dance arena was awesome, nice to the the digestive system regular and stopped my acid interghestion after all the cider.

Also the falafal place by john peel was good

I normally have a jerk chicken meal from the jerk chicken bbq place which is just by the hammock stall in the Jazz field. But I was disappointed with it last year, maybe I just had a bad one. The one up at the Park looked good, so might try there next year. If it's still there!

It's not food per say, but we found a place called Soup-A-Juice that did soup, juices and smoothies that was to die for. I think it was in the Green Fields.

They had one called an Immune Booster that we just kept going back for. It had a nice shelter to sit underwith some seats to get out the rain too

Really hope it's there next year.

I hada curry in Henry's Beard cafe last year, I can recommend it. I also really enjoyed a veggie shepherds pie in the Greenpeace cafe, the one that was built like an airport thing last year. Cheap and you got a really good sized meal, I couldn't eat it all so a starving hippy took the rest

I like having a not-very-cheap and not-all-that-nice chicken chow mein at a festival. For some reason it has become a bit of a tradition to make sure I do it.

There is no food place I have ever become passionate about at Glastonbury. I think it's just because I eat for energy rather than the enjoyment of eating at festivals.
