I quite like rap, but Snoop Dogg to me seems like part of the era of rap that died 10 years ago; and I really can't get into his music, so he's a bit of a surprise for me to be playing, I don't see much appeal in him nowadays personally.

Anyone similar?

Outstanding

He is one of the best Mc's in the game, has a good back catalogue and can work a crowd brilliantly.

For anyone struggling to get him listen to Doggystyle, its a bona fide hip hop classic. Gin n Juice is gonna be amazing, really hope he plays it.

He will be equally as good whether you are stood up dancing or just chilling on the grass with da herb.

Why single Snoop out unless you believe that Noel Gallagher crap from two years ago about Glastonbury just being for guitar bands? Hip hop is massive and Snoop's one of its biggest stars. End of.

I've been accused of having Daily Mail reader tendencies, for finding him incredibly offensive.

I prefer to think of these as Guardian reader tendencies, albeit possibly more 1987 Guardian than 2010 Guardian...

No its definitely Daily Mail.

Id hope Guardian readers have the intelligence to realise that none all of us have been fortunate to be raised in relative wealth and that its impossible to judge someone who grew up in an environment where street credibility could be the difference between life and death or at the very least a regular beating.

    • Very different in terms of time of game,  yet remember how excited I was before the first game in Euro 2016 having grown up not sure I would ever see wales in an international tournament. That day scraped a win against Slovakia and was just happy to see wales score and win at a tournament, little did I know we would finish in the top 4. Hope Scottish fans get the same experience.

    • I don't think I'm alone as a Scotland fan that there is no way that I could possibly fall asleep knowing we're about to play our first World Cup game in 28 years! Pure adrenaline is keeping me wide awake (and plenty of rum)!
