Suggestion on the festival Twitter and Facebook is it's the Musician stage. Don't know if it's any more than that.

Just to confirm: Musician Stage will be announced in full on Wednesday 6th April.

I caught these at Summer Sundae a few years ago - they were the best act of the weekend by a long shot going by how they got the crowd moving.

That might be the strongest I've seen the Musician stage - some people being lined up for big things and quite a few intriguing additions who could easily play bigger stages/tents. (I assume that the singer-songwriter Kristy Gallacher, not television's Kirsty Gallacher, yes?)

That would blow my socks off, I was just overjoyed to hear that some decent brassy Ska was going to be there, then I found out that it's the specials brass section, then there was the possibility of some 'friends' being with them - I've now got my wife telling me to calm down and not get my hopes up!!!

Frankie and the Heartstrings are a good addition to the line up, they're a band that i've heard some good things about.

I know SSW has a reputation for picking 'em early, but surely never quite this quickly - Eliza Doolittle is in the midweek top 30.

Dean will announce the first 5 local bands to play SSW 2010.
