Surprised no one is bitching about that, not fussed myself.

I reckon I willl see all 3 but not super excited for them but Blink are fun (espiially when girls get their goodies out for them), Arcade Fire are great and Gun N Roses (albeit without most of the real band) are a name to cross off the list.

Well last year in the top 6 on mainstage and NME stage only 3 of them weren't british and no-one seemed to notice and bitched about the line-up, so can't complain about it this year really.

Facepalm. You need to stop acting like Guns and Roses have the same relevancy as they did back when it was the original band. I don't care what you say about Axl being a great front man. David Lee Roth is a tremendous front man, but you wouldn't go see Van Halen without Eddie.

And fyi, I don't actually mind Guns n Roses, so this isn't me bashing because I hate them.

Well Arcade Fire are Canadian, and Canada is part of the Commonwealth, so that makes them...sort of British?

R&Ls did not get to be 2nd top festival in the UK(arguably the no.1 gig in a field type festival)by being a British stronghold, it has it's place on the European and world stage because of the fact it gets the very best acts available to them from throughout the globe.

Correct. Muse are one of the most overrated band in the country right now. Goes to show no matter how average the music is people will still be impressed by some lazers and effects (see also U2)

I have little interest in GNR, but at least they've got the tunes to back up their postion on the bill.

I've seen MUSE twice last year and in 08, musically just a bit boring although I will agree their show is good. Much prefer someone who can do music over show, or even better both as with Radiohead last year.

Didn't Rage Against The Machine choose in headline in 08 over Download, and asked to go on in 2000 even though it met a lower postion.

I wouldn't really call any of those 3 hot (I'm a huge fan of RATM & ACDC btw) as they aren't really dominating the charts for a long while.
