Nice.

I don't think Buddy Guy in 2008 will be beaten this year, but I'd love to see any of the following:

BB King

Clapton (with Winwood?)

George Thorogood and the Destroyers (diiiiirrrrrrrrrtttty Blues)

Mark Knopfler

I think a lot of blues players are playing the crossroads festival with Clapton over in America that weekend, which is a shame, but the blues band have self confirmed, I saw them last year and they're really really good, wood deffinately recomend Aynsley Lister as well!

Absolutely. He's played plenty of Bluesy stuff. I know he's not predominantly a Blues artist, but he's certainly got some Blues influence.

Anyway, be it Blues, or more of his folk/country style, he'd be a fantastic addition to the Jazzworld Stage.

I agree he would be good on the Jazz Word, not on his own though. I think i would ike to see him alongside the likes of Robert Cray or Clapton......Never will happen though. I would imagine Eavis has never heard of many on the list either.

Spot on about Buddy Guy, great finish to a day in which I also managed to catch Eric Bibb and Seasick Steve.

Anybody heard of a guy called Ian Parker, who also does a great version of 'Almost Cut My Hair'. Fook, he can play the blues! Remember the first time I saw him and couldn't believe the noise that was comin from this young indie lookin kid (some time ago admittedly). If he played anywhere at anytime at Glasto, I'm pretty sure I'd be there. :P

    • I wonder if he's going to get into the States for the second match against England. Seems a bit weird having players missing for certain matches but not others as the world cup moves around.
    • Quite lucky as I’ve no interest in Halsey at all so I’ve got time for some food and drink before getting in there.   But yeah… thinking I’ll have to leave early to get a decent spot for Gorillaz
