I was reading the Rockness Wikipeidia page and in the bit about 2010 it said that Jay-z was playing (GOD NO!) !! I'm not gonna worry too much cuz anyone can edit Wikipeidia and put false info on, but i want to bring it to your attention.

id love jay-z to play... his set at glasto was outstanding and he'd be an amazing headliner at rockness. the line up is already looking very good imo, club75, soulwax tent ad annie mac tent mean that there will be plenty on (tiga, chase and status, boys noize, mstrkrft etc... probably) and i think after all that jay-z would be great to close out the day (then on to the afterburner :P )

buuuuuut... the strokes and jayz are headlining IOW, would be a bit awquard if we shared 2 headliners with another fest :P

Thing is say it wasn't just a random Joe messing about and it was an actual Rockness worker that decided to play tease a bit it would be a very interesting line-up.

I mean.....

The Strokes - the original big, modern, indie group. Notably claiming one of the top albums in recent times

(big dance act) - I predict Chemical Brothers

Jay Z - former Glastonbury headliner(that's no small thing)and one of the biggest acts ever from his genre

That would be a truly forward looking festival with a very diverse and epic set of headliners! Definately a place trying to not make TITPs mistakes! :P

I would be ecstatic if Jay-Z announced for Rockness. Really, really hope he comes. I'm not even into Jay-Z all that much but the guy is an icon of modern music. It would be a massive coup for Rockness if they got him. I strongly suspect this one is just someone f**king around on Wiki though.

too true, plus he IS the most succesfull rapper of all time, if u count it by record sales + money made etc, it would be an unbelievable line up imo and would defos go see him again, saw him at coldplay in sept and he was awesome even altho he wasnt the headline act :P
