when ben's saying that he can get Miles the £3.2m or whatever, Miles says Nikki and Paulo are buried with £8m worth of diamonds, and towards end of episode you see Miles holding up a diamond.

The diamonds were what they betrayed each other over if you remember, with Nikki releasing the medusa spider that bit Paulo, but whose theramones attracted all the males, who bit Nikki. Paralysed both for a few hours, but got buried alive by the other losties in that time.

But if you watch the video that's been posted on here she buries the diamonds in the jungle, she didn't have them on her.....so she wouldn't have been buried with them

I wonder if Hurley is the new Jacob?

Hurley seems to be like Charlie in Willy Wonka - everyone else seems to have failled their own soul but Hurley has not - from start to finish he's been a risiliant bugger.

Did Jacob give him his bad luck as a form of test for his candidacy? How come in the alternate universe he has nothing but good luck?

Also, how long in the characters time have they been on the island? I'm just amazed that Hurley can traipse around the island on foot for months on end, eating very little, and still be that massive. Maybe that was another one of Jacobs gifts - shit metabolism. Maybe it was so that he was preparred for his long haul on the island? :P

the french lady was the one who setup the numbers being broadcast if I remember right so if she never setup that signal then hurley never heard them, and he won the lotto without using the numbers and they were at least he perceives to be his bad luck

I'm not 100% sure on the timeline but if ben and his father left the island before the french lady arrived then none of that ever happened

Damn, what a good episode that was, everything seems to be falling into place nicely for the conclusion/explanation of the whole thing.

I really enjoyed the explanation of Richard's origin. Even if it was a little obvious it was very nice to have it out in the open, stops all that speculation and lets us concentrate on the overall picture which is now a lot clearer.

Not actually sure what to think of Richard thinking everyone is dead though. It seemed plausible initially, until the hell thing seemed to be blown. It does definitely reopen the idea that they are in some kind of purgatory though. :P

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
