i thought i'd managed to get away with it and wasn't going to get spots, then i started getting them when i was like 19! raging. hardly ever get them but it's still really annoying. especially when concealer and foundation doesn't cover them.

Moving house is a pain in the arse. Been in my current house for two and a half years, which is the longest I've spent in one place since I left home at 18. By about 18 months. Good friends with my housemates, known em for years and we're all used to each other, and all our strange ways, but the lease is up, two are off overseas and its time to move on. I'd forgotten how much hassle meeting new housemates is. Ignoring the fact that I end up talking on the phone to a load of f**kwits, even the decent ones that you meet up with are hard work, having to be "nice" and "friendly" to people, then finding a place you like but having to wait for them to make a decision, or wasting your time going to see a place that is just totaly unsuitable.

    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
    • We'll see. Bristol and Leeds are both massively overdue big public transport investment - 2 of the cities with the worst transport infrastructure per capita in Western Europe. If this works to help support investment projects great and fair play to Burnham.
