rexclark
I really can't see Reading and Leeds having a hip hop headliner, same as I very much doubt they'd have a dance headliner. I don't count Prodigy as a dance headliner as they really are a cross over act. I'd love to be proved wrong though.

luckysalt
The Prodigy didn't headline any other major festival in England other than IOW. Reading like to have exlusive headliners. Glastonbury aren't so bothered with it.
JBarbour
reading/leeds already did the hiphop thing way before glastonbury with eminem in 2001. he's rumoured to be doing wireless festival so think that may rule him out r&l because I think any festival able to get him ain't gonna share. Jay-z prob won't headline the other day at wireless because it normally does one hiphop day and one dance day. this year they added an extra day, prob gonna be a pop day seen as pink and ting tings confirmed. black eyed peas have done r&l as well headlining dance stage in 2000 gorillaz got new album out they could be a possibility and would be something different Edited December 27, 2009 by craigb
irons
I'm honestly baffled about headliners for R/L this year. Haven't a clue. Best guess would be Guns N Roses Greenday Muse Just a guess thou realy.

irons
Unless they change the way they've pick headliners for ages(UK or English exclusives) the only one of those that could play are GNR.

Lithium05
What English festivals are Greenday and Muse confirmed for? Or did I miss something?
irons
No festivals. But both have stadium shows in the summer which count just the same as it gives people other options to see the bands.
Lithium05
Oh right, got ya. I think Muse will play Glastonbury thou. Don't rule out Greenday for a festival or 2 either, maybe not in England thou.

fat_man_joe
I was told today by a mate who apparently has really good connections (he wasn't trying to impress or anything as he didn't know I was a Reading goer or anything) that he knows the headliners are Friday - Strokes Saturday - Kasabian Sunday - Greenday
