Seemts they have in a round about way confirmed for download. Whats the concensus on them playing the Saturday night slot at glasto? Inappropriate? They have announced another tour leg to europe that finishes mid June.

Personally id cream myself with glee but thats just IMO. Whats everyone else think?

I thought it might be. Something to do with Eavis saying that it was a "Young Person's band".

But then I realised that would probably be too cryptic for Eavis. And that they only tend to play rock festivals, if they play any at all.

not a chance. far far too big to be given the "metal for a laugh" slot in the afternoon like Status Quo/Spinal Tap. would need to headline and that's not going to happen at glasto for them. [altho now that i think of it, AC/DC did support the Stones in Toronto a few yrs back for that huge outdoor SARS gig]

plus, didn't their Wembley gig this yr coincide with one of the glasto days this yr, and would have meant they were free for 2 of the glasto days this yr, but there was never any hint or serious suggestion?

    • It was never going to be great was it, there is comments of Mickey Mouse all over socials lol which is very similar to Glastonbury.  Someone I know from RIP watched Welcome to the Jungle and left and they went saying they've got to see GNR. It was the only day not to see out as well.
    • I decided to goto bed early for the Aussie game rather than stay up for Scotland. I don't regret my decision, I also love the complete over reaction during the world cup when a player has 1 good game, that Watford winger is now everyones dream signing. Its also funny when clubs get into the hype and end up overpaying for someone who then does nothing in the prem.

    • I read the Kerrang review and they didn’t seem overly positive. The definition of a 6 out of 10.
