Man that was just cruel at last fm.

Was it? Or was it merely daft of you to think there was anything to it?

You'd have more chance of the made-up entries on wikipedia for any fest prior to its announcement being right - at least they have a history of occasionally getting the odd band right (even if it's only 1 in thousand), whereas as far as I'm aware there's never ever been a correct one written up onto last.fm.

I agree Last fm have usally got it right didn't they get Kiss for download 2008 weeks before anyone , they are more reliable than strong rumours on efestivals i.e Eminem Wireless, Van Halen and Metallica Download 2010, Ac/dc Strong rumour Hardrock Calling 2009.

It did apear quite relistic with tour dates e.t.c.

This is the very first time I've heard anyone say last'fm rumours are more reliable.

We get sent what last.fm users have written into pages for nearly every fest - and I've yet to see even one act that's been right.

Well I shall still get my info from efest as a lot of what goes on turns out true - lastfm have been wrong a lot I can tell you. There was supposed to be a lot of BB King events when he was over last year - funnily enough if I hadn't seen him at the NIA I'd have been mega disappointed as nothing turned up!

Like I said don't count your chickens until they've hatched to save disappointment.

Right, that means we only have 1 week left of this wild speculating/rumour spreading/random guessing fun until next year! :P

Opinions people!

3 acts you want/think could be headliners on the Saturday, and 3 other acts you want/think could be added as support on the Saturday/Sunday (I'd say Friday is complete, apart from the smaller stages).

Mine:

Saturday headliner:

1) Stevie Wonder

2) Simon & Garfunkel

3) David Gilmour (I know, I know, but he's my "want" to play)

Other acts:

1) John Fogerty (Sunday)

2) Crowded House (Saturday)

3) Pixies (...?!...)

Let's hear 'em!!! :P

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
