He certainly did. And it was easily the most entertaining thing I saw all weekend (in fairness it was the most miserable wet muddy Glasto ever, and the ONLY time the sun came out was for Robbie, but still...). I'll never forget standing in that crowd watching the massed conglomerate of Crusties, Emos, Hippies and all the rest cheerfully waving their arms in the air and bellowing their lungs out to 'Angels' : truely a classic Glastonbury moment.

I suspect that Take That might go down equally as well in the same slot. Plus have you ever found a girl who doesn't admit to having at least a grudging fondness for them? They're few and far between...

Robbie Williams far outsold Take That in terms of album sales etc that'll be the reason he went down so well. 'Angels' is a classic song no matter whether you like it or not, Take That don't have that standing regardless of the current hype.

You're kidding right? Take That had sold 25m albums by 1996 - Robbie played Glasto in 1998 during his debut album tour - and even that flopped until 'Angels'!
