Now, its 40 year anniversary and all that, maybe our Shirley will come out of acting and sing for us again! I saw these at Wembley arena in the early 90's and loved them . I would love to see then at Glasto.

Yeah, I always kinda liked Garbage - thought they were a decent band and even though Shirley was a Terminator all along - I thought she had a good voice and would like to see them live.

I'd be there. Always liked Garbage but never got to see them. Had a ticket once but thanks to tonsilitis a mate ended up touting it for me.

When was the last time they played? 05? If so then I think a five year break is long enough.

Indeed i would have presumed that in there pomp they would have appeared once or twice, and forgive the ignorance, it was in fact only my first Glasto last year, although i am getting on, i guess i have a wish list of bands i would like to see through my extensive eclectic taste in music ,as its the 40th an all.

I would love to see them play again, one of my fave bands ever, looks unlikely though what with the band currently in hiatus, and Shirley having been working on solo stuff, although that never took off thanks to Geffen thinking it was too "noir".

I really do not like this band. They basically took the best parts of Curve then completely dumbed it down to the point of ridiculousness. They really did not deserve the fame they got and I'm glad they've been forgotten by the majority of people in this country.
