gaps in U2's just announced June 2010 dates

the rumors that U2 were definitely out of Glasto consideration as they were booked for the Meadowlands in New Jersey over Glasto weekend are now unfounded, as that date is in July. and...the official dates just released show a far too convenient gap btw shows on june 23 and 30...

obviously they wouldn't be using that 'spider' thing for glasto, so they could just fly over with their musical equipment and then head back to North America for the remainder of the tour.

I dont think Pulp are strong enough to headline the festival to be honest. They certainly dont have as many sing-along songs as Blur or The Boss.

Maybe I'm just not "with it" anymore but they've never interested me. A few decent pop songs but were never on par with the majority of britpop bands. How I see it, if Pulp headline it would *puts on helmet for inevitable abuse coming my way* be akin to Supergrass headlining.

...don't be such a bloody drama queen...there's hundred's of other things to see and do. If you'd really consider giving your ticket back because you don't like one of the headliners then I really don't know what to say....For the record, a U2 greatest hits set would blow the roof off the pyramid. peace
