Yep - they headlined the Saturday of my first Glasto. It was still one of the best headlining shows I've ever ever seen.

When they did 'Common People' at the end, the hairs on backs my neck and I suspect the entire crowds necks were in orbit!!

Took me hours to come down afterwards.....quite quite brilliant

If fashion is your trade then when you're naked I guess you must be unemployed yeah

Cos once it's underway there's no escaping the fact that you're a girl and he's a boy

I couldn't stop it now. There's no way to get out. He's standing far too near

How the hell did you get here. Semi-naked in someone else's room

I'd give my whole life to see it. Just you stood there only in your underwear.

Anyone else underwhelmed by the prospect of pulp? No way near in the same league of last years headliners. Are they really big enough to headline the pyramid stage on the 40th anniversary? Nothing against them playing, I just don't think they're big enough to headline.

why would they be guaranteed to headline the pyramid. don't get me wrong - i loved pulp and would happy watch them if they were playing. but they were nowhere near as huge as blur back in the day, so it would be a step back to have them headline. i say put them second from top on the pyramid, and we're all happy? question is, would pulp settle for that slot?

They're considered to be one of the best headliners the festival has ever had. They brought the house down for the 25th anniversary, why not the 40th?

    • I'm 59. It's not so much the music as the camping/late night chaos I've grown out of at R+L. If I was still local to Leeds I might still be persuaded for a day ticket if the lineup was to my taste.
