Would make sense, thou the Pyramid is usualy fenced off then with it getting ready for Friday. So that means it will only be group games at Glastonbury? Could live with that I suppose, as long as doesn't effect any bands playing.

Pity as well, their bottle doesn't usualy collapse untill the QF, always a laugh that.

For the Wednesday game - I know nothing about how stages are set up, but won't they be able to have the screens on at least?

As for the 2nd round game (if we get there) - this worries me. I haven't been to Glastonbury during a World Cup before - how much of the music was stopped for the Colombia game in 1998? Just the main stage? Can you imagine the interest in the game if it's England v Germany in the knock out stages???? Yikes. The best thing is for us NOT to play them - that really could be horrid.

(Although beating the Germans on penalties before dancing to 'You Can't Always Get What You Want' would be hilarious if Mick and co pulled a German out of the crowd .)

With any luck the Wednesday kick-off might just put a few people off travelling down early, as they won't want to risk missing the game. If I was Eavis I wouldn't publicise the fact that the game was on for that exact reason, it could slow the goldrush on Wednesday morning.

I would guess that there wouldn't be the room for that - especially if we reach the knock out stages. Surely only the pyramid field could cope with the demand?

I can't see them planning much tbh, nobodys knows if England will make the last 16 yet.
