I've just spoken with See Tickets General Manager.....

He says:-

1. if you're getting a "reg number used" message, then a sale has DEFINITELY been made against that Reg number.

2. See expects it to take 3 to 6 hours for all confirmation emails to arrive. Don't forget to check your spam folders for the email!

3. The online order tracker will NOT show your sale currently - it's not up-to-date with the sales system.

Hi

Sorry to be a bit thick here

We had the same problem with getting thrown out after putting in the payment details but don't get a "reg number used" message, we are getting "This registration number has already placed a deposit" Any idea if this is the same thing?

many thanks

See Tickets tell me that if you get a message telling you that the reg number has been used - such as that message is saying - then tickets have been bought using that number.

Quite how a payment can be taken without the Security levels being gone through is beyond me...but heyho...I'll believe it when I see the confirmation mail later.

Lots of people in the GlastoLimboPanicBoat currently! Fingers crossed all will be well by lunchtime.

the online tracker is showing mine - says tickets will start to be dispatched on 6/6/2010 and all tickets by 20/06/10....lol- bit tight if yours are not sent until the 20th haha! let the paranoia begin

Been waiting for website to refresh for 45mins but got through on 2nd attempt to 0115 945 4591.

Guy at see tickets said he had 90 calls in the queue and taking him 45 mins to put one order through!

At this rate they would struggle to sell a quarter of the tickets today, so dont panic folks.

He said they have changed the system this year and EVERYONE will buy from their Intranet, which basically means staff and joe public are all jamming the same system.

Guy has taken my details, as it could take 45mins to process and will call me back.

Stay patient guys and dolls

I get this message - We encountered a problem saving your order. Have you already placed a deposit?

Be nice if somebody could say whether this is the same thing as "Deposit has been paid" meesage that this link refers to!

I hate ticket day :D

    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
    • And all (or all but one) of the secret sets repeats though?
    • 1. Coming with my sister (our 4th Sziget together) 2. 3 days (Thursday-Saturday). Would rather do Tuesday-Thursday but not enough AL 😞 3. Wednesday evening  4. Apartment  5. FATM (will be my 10th Florence’s gig) 6. Parcels/Paris Paloma
    • Temperature was the main issue - luke warm at best
