Kraftwerk made my list too! Depeche Mode would've, but I heard that had a pissy fit about not condoning some of the acts on the bill last year & pulled out, so I think the chance of them ever playing are slim to none.

Also:

They Might Be Giants

The King (sings songs by other dead singers or bands with a deceased member in the Elvis style)

Daniel Johnston

Har Mar Superstar (after his brilliant performance as Neon Neon's guest in 2008, I think he deserves a spot)

Kid Carpet (If you don't know who he is Google him, or search YouTube, it's worth it)

Goldie Lookin Chain (Ben a while since they've played + the new album [Asbo 4 Life] is awesome)

Kaiser Chiefs (2 year absence, worthy of a return)

Tom Waits

WILLIAM SHATNER (Imagine how brilliant that would be + there is a Facebook campaign)

Finally, while not a headliner, I think they could play towards the end of the bill one night at the Pyramid:

Brian May & Roger Taylor from Queen.

Both have toured as solo artists & performed Queen songs within their sets. Roger has an excellent singing voice & Brian May is, in my opinion, second only to Jimi Hendrix as a guitar god.

ok, i fancy a return to the magical fields of glasto after a long absence and hope for the following -

pavement - reunion show would be unmissable

arcade fire - potential worthy sub-headliners on any stage

bright eyes - an one off show like fuji rock 09 may not be out of the question

thom yorke - a mid-afternoon solo slot would be pretty cool

modest mouse - another indie rock classic to fit the anniversary mould

sigur ros - would be beautiful on a cloudless night

islands - canadas best kept indie-pop secret

british sea power - almost glasto veterans, branches at the ready

sunset rubdown - even more cathartic canadian indie pop would be nice

jay jay pistolet - a unique british up-and-comer

so get booking the eavis'!
