Thought Blondie were not too clever when I saw em last at Glasto !

Personally I hate the Sunday afternoon Pyramid crowd pleaser so I will go with

Primal Scream

:P

Hmmm, last time Primal Scream played, they were terrible... it was the year Basement Jaxx stood in for Kylie because of her breast cancer treatment. Gillespie was pretty much booed off stage before being ejected. And as much as I'm not a fan of Kylie, he dissed her which got a lot of folks back up.

I only saw recordings of that Primal Scream set, but it looked hilarious. "We're a punk rock band, and you're all a bunch of f*ckin' hippies" springs to mind.

That Blondie gig was awesome, tears in my eyes stuff, loved them since I was old enough to know what music was.

an anyone explain to me what the big deal about Dolly Parton is? I'd take Willie Nelson or Kenny Rogers over her any day, surely shes just a caricature of a country singer, I'd definately be anywhere else if she played, why does it have to be a "crowd pleaser" and why does "crowd pleaser" have to denote cheese, surely its a legend slot so it should be a respected legend. Blondie would be good but i can't really think of anyone else ? Grandmaster Flash? maybe not big enough for pyramid but could go down great on a sunny afternoon on the Jazzworld

Goldie Lookin' Chain. No discussion. After searching for there early albums and finally finding them, they are superb and come on.. It'd be a bloody laugh. Fair enough with tom jones etc etc.. but don't you all secretly want a mass sing along to "21 Ounces" I know I do!!
