The best place in the world....but what part?

I started a thread like this last year for 08.....

This year with the loss of the Leftfield, the addition of Arcadia and the extension of Shangri-la a lot had changed.

Day time area would be the Jazz World for me.

When the main stages finish, I would vote for the Park, followed closely by the stone circle. Shangri-la looked very impressive but alas my group found that area of the festival too packed to stay long enough.

Arcadia, sort of, The Strummerville camp fire which i dicovered... Saw some folky guy called Beans On Toast and a band called the supernovas, class acts.

I'm gonna bite and say the Pyramid stage, something about standing in that legendary field with thousands of others made me feel like I was in the coolest place in the world. Kasabian and The Specials in the sunset slots were amazing.

I have never f**king found it. Been three times and I'm a massive Clash/Strummer fan.

For this year it was the Greenfields for me.

Some other year it would be the Leftfield, but its absence this year widened my eyes to the Green Fields

I never found it either, which really bummed me out because I wanted to see Emmy the Great. Twice wasn't enough!

greenfields at night for me, loved it. although some of my favourite bands were on the other stage, and thought the park was quality.

The poll is a shambles but there are just too many areas to remember. Clearly Avalon should be there by day though.
