So who saw the Specials? Were they any good?

I really wanted to see them and spent 40 mins near the front before they came on, but had to leave unexpectedly due to an unfortunate incident about one minute into their first song. Gutted to miss them, but it had to be done.

I've not seen them listed in many people's top acts of the festival, so if you could all tell me they were crap, it'd make me feel a lot better!

They were brilliant.

Got into the D at my bf's insistence - in his words 'I even put up with an hour of Silly Allen to make sure I got to the front'.

His view on them? 'Bloody fantastic'. I took secret footage of him skanking to Too Much Too Young

They were great. Definitely one of my highlights, along with Neil Young and Nick Cave.

Yes they were ace!

I was in the urinal at the pyramid stage after the gig, and a bloke asked his mate "Did you enjoy the specials", and he replied "Yeah! I only wish Terry Hall enjoyed it as much as I did!"

If it's any help I was disappointed with them, saw them a few weeks ago in Brixton and they were great. It seemed that Terry Hall did not want to be on stage at Glasto and I think he spoilt the show

Didn't see all of the specials, didn't see all of madness...but from what I saw I'd say the specials were better (but what do I know!).

They were great, one of my highlights. They opened with Do The Dog and instantly everyone around me started skanking. Good stuff.

Terry Hall as always been a miserable looking bugger but that's how he is i have never seen him smile on stage even in the 80s it is just his way
