funny how you use this thread as an example of Bruce morons without any proof, but if anyone else does the same, it just proves them to be morons...

if only life was that convenient

(maybe it is for you...)

The proof of the existence of Bruce morons is here for all to see in this thread. I've quoted some of those posts as proof often enough to show it as true.

The moronic things are the likes of you (and now The Nal) making up things I've supposedly said or implied, yet which I've not said or implied - as your failure to provide the evidence of what you claimed me to have said proves.

Can you give me the proof of what you claim I've said? No you can't.

I can give you the proof of the moronic doings of Bruce fans. Do you want me to give you that proof again? I can - and will do, if you promise you'll shut the f**k up afterwards when you have that proof. Will you?

Neil, I feel you are correct in what you say Springsteen fans need to lighten up. I have seen Bruce 14 times and will be seeing him again at Hampden in 2 weeks so yes I am a fan but I wouldn't tell anyone that they should like him.

I don't care less if my mates like him or not it's none of my business, I do and thats all that counts. Thankfully we are all different and have our own likes and dislikes. I suppose that I may be a little different from most springsteen fans as I can enjoy most music and do regularly attend Leeds Festival and various other live events.

There is absolutely no point in argueing about who's the best blah blah blah as it is a matter of opinion, I for one thought the Pendulum performance was outstanding and it had me hooked far more than Bruce, saying that I enjoyed his performance too.

Bloody hell - 26 pages of this!!!!!!!!!!! Jeez.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and people's will differ.

Mine:-

That Bruce gave us a tremendous, high energy non-stop show that was one of the best I have experienced in 10 Glasto's.

But Neil Young's was the better musically

You know people, just because two small yellow faces after your post are laughing, it doesn't make it funny.

(P.S. Because fact into doubt won't go: NeilFestivals has spent 127 posts slagging off a performer he only saw for 3 1/2 minutes. That's a post for every 1.6 seconds. That's what I call comprehensive journalism.)

Oh look, a Bruce fan making things up yet again.:)

The majority of those posts are not slagging off Bruce. They're either cvallimng pe4ople morons fopr making stuff up that I've not said or they're taking the piss out of morons like you who refuse to accept my right to my opinion because I've dared to have an opinion of Bruce that isn't full of praise for him.

But you can call it comprehensive journalism if you like. I'd be far more accurate calling your sorts of antics comprehensive trolling tho. ;)

i've just gone over the first half dozen or so pages, and you're already calling people (plural) morons for calling you a liar. The only person who questioned your 'survey' then went on to appologise for it

and so you've just proven to yourself that I've not been calling people morons because they've disagreed with my opinion.

I'm ready for the example of where I made anything up...

Read back the last few pages, where I challenge you to produce what you allege that I've said. You can't produce it because you've made it up.

Are we done yet? Or are there more pointless and pathetic things to come from you?

A lot of people the day after were wondering why he didnt play BITUSA, Streets of Philadelphia or Secret Garden.

Those are imo, three of the worst songs hes ever done.

He played Jungleland the next day at Hard Rock. People forget that Bruce has got other shows on his tour and its his right as an artist to not keep playing the same songs over and over again. Also if i saw all the same songs each time i saw Bruce, why would i keep seeing him? I have no desire to see Blur again, despite me thinking they were amazing, because it would be a pretty identical set.

It's just my opinion that you've been pretty obnoxious in this thread and most of the time someone disagrees with you (or pokes a bit of fun) you resort to "Oh look another Bruce moron".

hmmm .... not how I see it, but if that's correct, then it's been more than matched by the obnoxious posts from some people who've disagreed with what I posted or who couldn't take me laughing at them for their Bruce fart sniffing.

But anyway .... I'm perfectly happy with my opinion, and I'm perfectly happy with their Bruce farts perfume opinions. It's just the lies and idiocy.

:D

:D so why are you calling them morons?

because it's an accurate description for their behaviour.

I'm saying you're being illogical and nasty by calling people morons.

far less illogical than them telling me I'm not entitled to my opinion as some of those morons did, and far less nasty than those morons calling someone a liar with no basis whatsoever. Moron is an accurate description for them for their behaviour.

But anyway .... you've failed again to back up the lies you typed. That wouldn't be because you typed lies now would it? :)

up to you really.. you do know it takes 2 to tango, don't you?

it only take one to start acting the moron and i wasn't that one.

do you ever have a debate with someone who disagrees with you without being so horrible and abusive?

:P:P

(just joining in)

Do you ever have a debate with someone where you don't resort to lying as you did here? B)

FFS. Grow up.

It's calling people morons for (apparently) liking Bruce that I'm curious about. I know he's going to give various reasons why he's called them morons, but he's yet to come up with why he called me one...

I can take it :D

I'm calling you a moron right now for you being a lying low-life.

I've called no one a moron for liking Bruce and you know it. I've asked you to prove that I have done and you cannot.

Grow up you pathetic little worm.

And all because you can't bare it that lots of people thought Bruce was shit. :D

My daughter had her end of year/post GCSE 'boat party' (like a prom type thing) last night (what a lovely evening to have it!) and said that loads of her friends watched a lot of Glasto on tele over the weekend, and many of them were truly amazed at how good Bruce was, and say they really want to go and see him next time... these are 16 year olds who quite probably wouldn't have given him a second thought before...

make of that what you will

Yeah, imagine if he had’ve dropped Promised Land, Working on a Dream, Outlaw Pete, Prove it All Night, Hard Times, Land of Hope and Dreams, My Lucky Day and Raise your Hand and instead played Tenth Avenue/Jungleland/Spirit in the Night/Growin Up/Rosalita/Ramrod/Atlantic City/Racing in the Street/Im on Fire/Murder Incorporated.

Is that gig then literally ten times better? I think so.

A friend of mine who's been a journalist and now 'represents' (?) some of the top photographers from the 60's (which doesn't mean his opinion is necessarily worth any more than anyone else's, but he is very commited to his music) who usually says The Stones, pre-Goats Head Soup (sometimes The Who..) are the be all and end all of all rock n roll, said it was possibly the best live music broadcast he'd ever seen....

and he's not a Bruce fan ...

    • I think my party got pretty lucky last night, at least compared to some of the horror stories over on Reddit. I was very impressed with Father John Misty in particular.   Perhaps my view would be different if I were a big Massive Attack fan or whatever, but right now my feeling is that if it's not safe for the shows to go ahead... then it's not safe for the shows to go ahead. I'd much rather they were cautious than roll the dice when it comes to something like that.    Here's hoping everyone has a better day today.
    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
