Reading this since chucking in my few penneth, I reckon those who have said Prince might be on the money.

TBH, if it was a dream headliner I'd go Radiohead. They are the best live act I've ever seen and I think In Rainbows is a real return to form (went off the rails after OK Computer IMO). It would be great to see them again on song.

I don't really care too much anyways as Glasto is about so much more than the main stages. I'd have a great weekend having never spent any time at any of them (well, maybe need to sneak over to JP for a bit...)

Sorry, I haven't had time to read through this whole thread but I thing Dizzee should at the very least headline The Other Stage next year. His performance this year shows what a fine Glastonbury pedigree he has developed into. He should close the show and my only miss giving about that is that I may have to miss him because there will be a Juggernaut on the Pyramid come Sunday next year.

One of the guys from ABBA was on J Ross last night and he said no way.

So I'm thinking

Friday, Metallica/The Foos.

Saturday, a legend. Maybe Bowie, Macca or Floyd/Gilmour.

Sunday, Muse. At a push Radiohead

I will not be Metallica or The Foo's !

Cannot see em bringing Bowie or Macca back , and doubt Gilmour or Waters will have made up.

Muse - Probable

Radiohead - Cannot see em touring next year

Not particularly my cup of tea, and i felt bad about being vocal in my dissapointment in 2005 when it was announced she was playing, but Kylie has been given an open spot for when she was ready. I doubt as a headline act but i reckon theres a chance she'll be back for a late slot.

Agreed to an extent ivan. I think Dave Gilmour himself is big enough to do it. I'd say Muse are stick ons. The foos were at the farm a few months ago so they're interested, Metallica said they want to do it. But whether they're bands that ME thinks are Glasto fodder is different, he might not think they're suited.

Not gunna be what people want to hear but surely the Arctic Monkeys are shoe ins for a headline slot, what with the new album out next year

Sorry but the manner in which you place Tom Waits hidden amongest the crowded line up and behind the likes of Amy and White Lies is utter crazy talk!!

Tom Waits will never play a festival IMO...........especially one the size of Glasto..........Apparently he hates them................And to have him so far down the line up!! Madness!.............Waits IMO could nearly headline Glasto..............nearly I say.............and it would be a massive insult for him to play below a f**ked up junkie yolk of a thing!!

Edit.............please ME..............get DAFT PUNK as a headliner for the pyramid and ask them to bring their pyramid show!!!

I think everyone has been predicting the likes of David Bowie, Dave Gilmour/Roger Waters, Radiohead, for every Glasto for the past few years! And it never happens! I don't really care much about Radiohead, but it would be fantastic if Bowie and/or Dave Gilmour or Roger Waters would play Glasto 2010. I don't think it will happen though!
