...which performances do you think they'd put on it? Say there was 15 performances.

I reckon we'd see:

Muse - 2006

NIN - 2007

Metallica - 2008

Nirvana - 1992

Green Day - 2001

New Order - 1998

Radiohead - 1994

Oasis - 2000

Pixies - 2005

The Strokes - 2001/2002

Arcade Fire - 2007

Blur - 1999

Manics - 1992

RATM - 2000

SOAD - 2003

Manics 1992 :P

Possibly one of the most energetic and generally amazing performances I have seen! When James spits at the audience in Motown Junk it really emphasises their utter contempt for the world. I could watch those videos forever.

1998 - Prodigy (Smack my bitch up)

1999 - R.H.C.P - (Sir psycho sexy)

2000 - Primal Scream (Higher than the Sun)

2001 - Q.O.T.S.A (Regular John)

2002 - Jane's Addition (Three Days)

2003 - Metallica (For whom the bell tolls)

2004 - Morrissey (How soon is now)

2005 - Pixies (Gouge away)

2006 - Pearl Jam (Chloe dancer/ Crown of thorns)

2007 - N.I.N (Sin)

2008 - R.A.TM (Know your enemy)

To fill it up I would use footage from bands on smaller stages that later would become much bigger/legendary. Such as:

1999 - Muse (Sunburn)

2000 - At The Drive In (One armed scissor)

2002 - Interpol (Obstacle 1)

With it being a Reading DVD they wouldn't be able to use NIN's Sin, as they didn't do it at Reading

My choice would definitely be Hurt. Or Head Like A Hole. Probably Hurt though.

Oh yeah, and Jay-Z id dpull ouit in 2003 - his slot was filled by The Darkness.

As for the DVD, Arcade Fire in the R1 Tent in 2005 (if there was any footage filmed) would surely take precedence over their 2007 main stage set.
