Kaisers?

Just been checking on Gorge report, usually reliable from what I hear and they've got the Kaiser Chiefs down as confirmed for an appearance.

Anyone have any info/general reactions?

Personally I'd be pretty glad to have another band that is more popular with the uner 30s confirmed

Not that Glasonbury has anything do with music or anything

Hope its true but have a feeling that it wont happen.

The Chiefs have just confirmed that they are supporting U2 at a number of stadium gigs this summer (Kaiser Chiefs News).

However, the first gig isn't until 30th June in Barcelona...........

Kaiser Chiefs were strongly rumoured on here for ages but out of nowhere Neil took it down saying they were only playing one festival and it wasn't Glastonbury. So if he's right, then they were signed up but then cancelled or something.

that site also has depeche mode as confirmed, but neil says they're a definitite no.

I saw them last week and they were brilliant, up there with any band i've seen live. I know they have their critics but they are great at what they do.

Took my 14 year old to see them last week and got to admit I enjoyed them. I enjoyed Black Kids supporting more but they put on a high energy and entertaining show and Ricky Wilson is a good front man.

Yup this I can believe. The kaisers are a band for 12/13/14 years olds. A good introduction to music. Then when your kid matures a bit they will probably move on to music with more depth.

Nope id be quite happy for a bit of Na-Na-Nanaaa from the Kaiser Chiefs...some one who doesent creak when they try to dance around on stage is always a bonus, Not that Young could ever be accused of jumping around to much
