Morissey on the sunday would be the most epic of all epic fails. By quite a long way. He's so shit I really can't fathom why people like him. Seriously, its not like The smiths were good enough that they should justify a blind(or should that be deaf) obediant following for one of their members.

That line-ups piss poor, on the plus side I'm fairly sure you're wrong.

wow, if thats the lineup for real, firstly thanks very much. it might actually be worth going for one day.

this whole time i've been slated for saying ther lineup looks rubbish and you can't say that just cos of the headliners. but now i can honestly say, i think the headliners are average and the undercard is, on the whole, a joke.

how bland can you get? jeez!

If that is right then I will be spending a lot of time in the campsite or by the bar. The low down bands are good, but the only decent big band is Weezer.

Morrissey is toss. Get him off there now!

...and don't get me started on Fall Out Boy!

I'd actually enjoy the combination of Radiohead, Morissey. That looks fariley belivable I guess apart from Franz Headlining the NME tent? Ok, maybe i'm a bit out of the loop but I don't think they have dropped that much in popularity since headlining the main stage!? Surely if anything is to say this is bullshit then this is it!

The Morissey thing is fairly belivable. New album just out, toruing at th emoment, bound to do some festivals and not announced for any others so far. Plus its possible I they would put a non 'metal/heavy' act on before Radiohead if they are indeed headlinng.

Lools to be a fairly standard Reading/Leeds line up to me.

After seeing his full line up I'm think he's BS'ing now, I expect Offspring are playing and when I spoke to Enter Shikari they said they'll be in the tent. That was 2 months ago though >_>.

Bullshit of the highest order imo, sometimes a line up is just 'too' predictable that it must be fake.

Back to the drawing board for rumours .

I think NME have reported today that Stone Roses are rumoured to be getting back together this year for some gigs, wonder if that might include nights at reading/leeds.

Also haven't been on here for a few weeks but since when did radiohead get unofficially added to sunday? Sunday is always rock day, what is going on?

it has been for the last 10 years +, just the headliners arent always heavy rock. Thats where the confusion comes from.

if you want to take that angle, then you could similarly say that everyday is rock day.

And so it becomes no less meaningful as saying Sunday is rock day.

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
    • Easily my favourite set of the day.
