Not really my cup of Char, but i did catch the last part of their 2007 set in Chelms...

Tim was slating the "powers at V" off to the crowd, saying that he'd been warned not to jump into the crowd, or they wouldn't get paid.

I reckon V were just warning him that no-one was going to catch him.

Got some good songs, Im actually glad they're back as I missed them in 2007, can't remember why? ha ha

Anyway, yeah last time they were what 3rd on the main stage? It was stupidly high booking considering where some acts have been dumped on the main stage in the past, they better not be that high again, Id like them main stage in the afternoon, maybe 5th or 6th, But I could see them headlining the JJB maybe on Killers day, I would expect a lot of Oasis fans wanting to see them though so maybe main stage Oasis day

I enjoyed them last time - good atmosphere. Crowd was quite small for that time of day, so perhaps they'd be better off high up C4 or JJB this year.

I'm not sure anybody else remembers but in 07 at Staffs there were signs up saying that the time that James was performing had changed or something. So we went back to our site for a bit and heard them playing at the right time, by that time we couldnt be bothered goin back down to see them!

i dont remember any signs but i remember they played sit down as the 2nd or 3rd song into the set and the whole field was doing the opposite and jumping around in happyness.

James have been confirmed as playing T in the Park, their official website also states that extra festival dates will be announced soon.

I saw them at Manchester central in December, was easily the gig highlight of the year!!!

James at V in 2007 was one of my top Festival moment, even taking into account my first LSD experiences whilst eatching Ride etc... the sun even came out for them, my non James fan friends loved it too, I love them, always have and always will.
