Hmm, metcheck now predicting very high 20s and torrential rain the whole week until sunday. These forecasts are being generated straight off the back off one of the models that jackone uses. Interesting to see what he makes of all this later today. I'm going to be blindly optimistic and believe the heat, but not the rain! ;-)

Trends currently being discussed over on Netweather forums, the general model output discussion ones, look pretty damned positive right now, and JACKONE's latest 7 rating in his latest Glasto forecast look very much in line with that.

All we can hope for is that the trend HOLDS! ;)

See yous all Monday, check the BBC four weeker update, due Monday, to see whether they confirm, and keep an eye on the Met Office 15 day forecast uppdates too, can someone find a link for that please?

Must dash, on a borrowed laptop. See yas! :D

    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
    • Dream Blink day    Blink - Turnstile - Neck Deep - The Story So Far
    • The vibe for Avalanches was spectacular, but i totally understand not wanting to wait in a queue for however long it was.   I had to miss Ethel Cain to queue. Bit annoying, but I had never seen the Avalanches before (either live or DJ set) and it was every bit as joyful as I hoped.   Great little stage, either way.
    • The Smashing Pumpkins are also a shout
