biscant
Hmmmmmm ??? Bruce - US Blur - UK Young - Canadian (does that count as an Eavis US) but who would be the 4th and a UK artist??? Its all very exciting..................
Bradders
Technically Canadian is American because it's in North America. I'm sure he's just made a slight mistake and it's actually Young and Springsteen.

sdaveak47
Doesn't bruce springsteen insist on playing for about 3 hours, when would this 2nd headliner come on at 7ish ?
WS_Jack_III
mate of mine is a huge springsteen fan and told me somebody had posted his tours dates from a press release today which included 27th at glasto
benisright
Don't know about 'insist'.. he does usually play for around 3 hours (plus...) he cut his set down to about an hour and a half for the Amnesty tour though Doesn't the Saturday go on til about 1am? Bruce on at 10.... previous act about 8.. ??
reas11
Any word on muse playing at all?? It would make my day And if there are two headliners on the saturday will the first headliner play the sundown set or will they move the lineup forward an hour so they both play in in the dark? reas11
Muse will almost certainly not play, they're on a break after around two years of straight touring I believe?
reas11
I'd wager my house on it coming out next decade.
Joe_
If he plays 2 hours and a bit that wouldnt surprise me. Hes definitely not playing 3 hours at the superbowl though, nor did he play 3 hours at obamas inaugaration concert. Hes doing more and more of these smaller gigs. darrenbha
I'm sure there was a post on here somewhere earlier today quoting another european festivals website which mentioned a 3 hour set so maybe its possible
redmosquito
It may be a bit out of the box but how about Led Zepp? I've heard many rumours recently of the band getting back together without Robert Plant and a replacement singer in his place. The rest of the band have all said how they would love to do more show and from what I understand are looking at a number of different singers. Glasto would be the perfect place for them to launch the tour after a few warm up gigs and they would go down a storm. Just an idea but thought I'd out it out there and it ties with with the English band thing and ME going on about how excitited they are to have 4 massive acts for this year!! Or maybe its all just wishful thinking on my part!

Josie's Cat
You know who is getting back together - The Faces! Don't know a single one of their tunes, but they said they want to tour next year, so I'm guessing they need some cash! Is Ronnie Wood getting divorced? ralph250
2 english + 2 american = current lineup of fleetwood mac. It's a play on words on who the 4th headliner is! Wiley old eavis
Halfbaked79
Yeah Fleetwood Mac would be a good call and a dream, I see from their website, they are reforming for a tour of the states this spring.

reas11
I think it's unlikely and my post was slightly tongue in cheek, but they were rumoured on here until recently, and would fit 2 english/2 american if it was a play on words...which I doubt it was. Can't see glasto going for neil young, the boss, and fleetwood as 3 of the 4 headliners.
suchacharmer
Just to rule out Kasabian, as they were mentioned a few times on this thread...they were quoted in NME as saying they wouldn't be playing any festivals this year as they wanted to concentrate on making their own shows massive and then coming back the following year to festivals so people didn't get "oversaturated" with them. I'm not really sure the logic in this, but it's Tom Meighan, so logic is probably not involved. Too bad, I would have liked to see them somewhere other than a 50 person American bar, that's not the right atmosphere for "Club Foot."
