strudders
HI Cherries82 To registrar go here Registar Then to get tickets go here Tickets But be quick as it all stops on the 1st of Feb. Glastonbury is very laid back and not as commercial as V so you will be fine. Its a great contrast and I can tell you, you will love it! Hope you decide to go! darrenbha
Hi Cherries82, even if you can't find any mates to go, be bold, go for it, join one of the efests camps, you'll make loads of friends and get the chance to really enjoy the fest. JameSemajj
Well... it's about 20 times better than V... Ive been going to V since 2006. 2008 was my first Glastonbury adventure and well.. i was blown away! I think that the TV coverage doesn't really give a good insight on anything else other than the music.. i know thats what it's supposed to do, but there is so much more to do! I realised last year that i could go to glastonbury and not see a band, and have the time of my life!! I think i like glastonbury to much .. shame radiohead wont be there this year! Joshuwarr
in some ways, V is more hardcore than glasto... it's (v) much more angsty (not in a good way..)
vicky=)
I went to Glasto before i went to V and boy was i dissapointed with V. Glastonbury is amazing, this is one instance when you should definitely believe the Hype.

glasto_mongrel_2008
I'd say Glasto is still more hardcore. Whats more hardcore than arriving, drinking all day, listening to bands for about 12 hours solid, then continuing to party and drink in the likes of Shangri La then heading up to the Stone Circle to chill for the rest of the night til the sun rises
fairyinboots
CHerried 82 I hope you decide to go, its a great festival with loads of atmosphere etc. Words really cannot do it justice, you have to experience it. I have been alone a few times, its OK, honest! It makes you talk to more people and meeting new fold is great.
MikeyB37
Go for it cherries, you won't regret it! There'll be quite a few people you know from the V forums going too
pehaw
starting drinking at the beginning of the day, keep on drinking 'til your in fighting mode, then have some poppers, drink a bit more, try and pick a fight.. that's my interpretation of hard core and my memory of V. GlastoMad
ill tell you a bit about glastonbury: glastonbury is a place where any man, woman, or child can go and feel like they fit in. it has a sense of community spirit that is lost in our every day lives, and everyone is there to have fun. there are tents, the fence, the pyramid.. the jazz stage... the other stage.. the left field.. the park... the kids field.. the stone circle(woooop) and whether you be bank manager or post boy there will be something there for you =P
bertieb73
Like you Cherries, I have been a V Festival regular for the last few years but taking the plunge and going to Glastonbury this year as I'm sure I would regret it if I never gave it a go. The passion for the festival is clear to see when you trawl through these forums and so this alone fills me with excitement. Doing V again with mates but doing Glastonbury on my lonesome which doesn't worry me as the Glasto efestival gang seem like a decent bunch to meet up with. I think you can make any festival as 'hardcore' as you want it to but Glastonbury certainly looks like it gives you the option!!! Go on, get involved!!!!
