I think I'll get the early morning bus on thursday from glasgow (I'm on nightshift and can sleep on the way up) and then come back sunday evening.

Thought I'd copy this across to save people clicking.

all by bus and same the way back. get a few hours in inverness on the friday before the ullapool bus, and a few hours in ullapool waiting for the inverness bus. spose that means pub time!

i dunno, probably about 7ish. bus leaves inverness at 17.20 so shouldnt be that more than an hour to get there.

in 07 it was the windiest ive ever camped in. tent actually blew in on you. was wild. and freezing. dunno what it was like last year though, but basing on the pictures on the site, theres guys wearing tshirts so hopefully its warm sometimes in ullapool

It was well windy on the Thursday last year, and after that basically dry and warmish but overcast from what I remember.

The Saturday last year was great, sunny but a little windy I think.

Not such a silly time of year if the weather stays like this - not forecast that great for Loop so far but fingers crossed

I'm all sorted. Went and got my bus ticket today. Arrive in Ullapool Thursday 3:00pm and leave Monday 9:50 am. I'm well excited now!

As for the weather, i will be taking sun block and long johns. I like to hedge my bets.

i am yeah. not really much of a fan but always wanted to see them for some reason. reckon theyll be good in a non mongish crowd.

Only seen The View at big places, SECC with Primal Scream, and Glasto a couple of months back. Will go see them in a small tent to see wot there like. At least that's 3 of us. Me, you and Alison.
