I think I might do this next year. That line-up looks nifty. How accessible is it by train? And more importantly, is it good and family friendly? Thanks in advance for any help.

Nearest train station is Halesworth, which is on the London-Ipswich line. They run shuttle buses from the station to the site throughout the event.

My kids are now of legal drinking age, but I'd say it's very family friendly, there's a lovely kid's area with lots going on, and a family camping bit. There's always loads of kids of all ages running about, and it doesn't get hugely crowded, so there's always space for families to picnic and chill out. It's not a huge site, so less worry about little'uns going AWOL, and the security people make sure kids on their own are OK, which is nice.

I've heard parents complain about the cost of food and drinks (although I don't know why people pay huge ammounts for bottled water when there are taps) and I guess it could really add up if you were buying all your food from stalls.
