One subtle difference.......SUN!

Am I right in thinking Big Chill pretty much always gets sun?

There used to be a Brothers bar too, don't think they were there last year though.

British Sea Power on Thursday evening as well. Looks like a lot more happening on Thursday this year, which is cool.

A little more about the zombies as well!

Meanwhile, the dead will walk the earth once more, as Film4 and Warp Films not only take you to, but also give you a chance to be in the movies. On Thursday they'll be attempting an entry into the Guinness Book of Records, by shooting the world's first and largest audience participation zombie movie. Over the next few months we'll be giving you some undead fashion tips so you can be a part of this celluloid chiller. And to get you in the mood, Film4 will also be hosting an evening of classic zombie flicks in Big Chill Nights, to help you acquire a taste for braaains.

    • Never too early to start discussing next year’s headliners right?   I’m not attending this year so thought I’d get the ball rolling as I saw Weezer have a new album out in August I’d expect them to do this or Slam Dunk next year. I mean they’re probably too big for this however I think they’re niche enough that they would maybe do it, it just depends on if the fee is a bit out of range for trees.    It’ll be the 20th anniversary next year so I’d expect some throwbacks and hopefully some big headliners/acts. James has already said he’s made a mad booking that you wouldn’t guess & I think he mentioned that he’s spent something like 80% of this years budget of next years top line already on last weeks 2 promoters 1 pod (Don’t quote me on that).    I reckon they’ll try for and get at least two (not all) of the following - Enter Shikari, AFI, Weezer, Sex Pistols Feat Frank Carter, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls
    • for some reason last night watched series one of Prey on Netflix.   if Legends was written by Timmy Mallet (see above) then Prey seems to have been made by Mr Blobby.   why are all these British crime dramas so sh*t?
    • It'll be all over various Seatfillers based upon previous years at Sandringham
    • The Jayhawks 2026 UK Tour    Sept 15 – Brighton – Corn Exchange  Sept 16 – London – Electric Ballroom Sept 17 – Manchester – Academy 2 Sept 18 – Glasgow – The Garage    For you ‘americana’ lovers. They have a great song book.
    • Weezer just announced a new album & US tour so could add them to the headliner pool. Imagine they’ll do this or trees
